NorCal Convocation Brings Together Chesterton Students from Across Northern California |
At the end of Catholic Schools Week, we were blessed to gather all four Chesterton Academies in California under one roof for a day of celebration, learning, camaraderie, and prayer. Our school doubled in size as we welcomed students from the Chesterton Academies in Yuba City, Dixon, and Menlo Park to our Sacramento campus. While there is so much that we could share about our time together, one of the most important facets of the day was the students seeing that they were part of something bigger.

| | CAS Students Live Out Motto of "Cultura Vitae" |
Chesterton Academy of Sacramento students and families have participated together in the Walk for Life annually since the school's inaugural year. This year, every seat on our bus was filled with CAS participants! Students raised more than $1,000 to charter the bus and take the trip.
We are blessed to be able to make this annual trip together with our chaplain, Fr. Adam, to witness for the rights of the unborn and live out our school motto, "Cultura Vitae." |

| Our Next Play is a Musical -- and Not to Be Missed! |
This spring, our juniors and seniors will perform a brand-new adaptation of Oscar Wilde's beloved classic, The Importance of Being Earnest. Set in Victorian New England, our version of this quintessential comedy of manners retains all the mansions, tea parties, witty dialogue, hilarious characters, and cutting social commentary of the original. Our version also features musical numbers. Read on for more about our drama program, including showtimes for the next play.

Freshman Chiara L. (pictured at right) reflects on the many blessings of being a student at Chesterton Academy.
"You can tell the teachers want you to seek a deeper understanding of how things work and how God made them. I know that all my teachers care deeply about me and the person I grow up to be, both spiritually and academically.
Since coming here, I have grown so much closer to God through going to daily Mass, monthly adoration, and prayer before every class. It is becoming clearer and clearer to me how important my faith is in my life, as is how I should continue to grow in my faith."
