A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) offers a simple and tax-efficient way to support Chesterton Academy of Sacramento while making the most of your retirement assets.
If you are age 70½ or older, you can transfer funds directly from your IRA to the school and exclude that gift from your taxable income, up to the IRS annual limit (currently around $108,000).
This approach can also count toward your required minimum distribution, allowing you to meet IRS requirements in a way that directly benefits a cause you care about.
