The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a service of Scripture and song that dates to the late 19th century.  In this service, we listen to nine Scripture lessons which recount the Fall, the promise of a Messiah, the Incarnation, and the Great Commission to preach the Good News.  Each lesson is followed by a carol or other song that reflects on the lesson's message and a brief prayer.

Sacred music performed by our All-School Choir and Schola Cantorum. Patio reception to follow.

Founding donors are invited to join us for wine and hors d’oeurves at 5:30pm on Friday, December 13th in the St. Lawrence Parish rectory. Enjoy meeting other supporters of the school and hear short reflections by our Headmaster, Mr. Harrison Brehm, and Chaplain, Fr. Adam Tokashiki.

The Chesterton Academy Schola Cantorum will be singing this year at Calvary Cemetery’s Christmas Tree Lighting. Wednesday December 4th, 6:00 (6:30 performance).

The Chesterton Schola Cantorum is dedicated to bringing the glory of the Catholic musical tradition out of the classroom and into the community. The Chesterton Schola focuses especially on liturgical music: Gregorian chant, polyphony, psalmody, and hymnody.

All are welcome to join us for a meet and greet with our new headmaster, Mr. Harrison Brehm. Mr. Brehm will give a brief presentation and answer any questions. Enjoy a glass of wine with friends while getting to know Mr. Brehm and his family. We look forward to seeing you there!
