Headmaster's Easter Address

In our liturgy one week ago, Jesus was being welcomed into Jerusalem with hosannas and palm branches; then, three days ago, He was betrayed, handed over to torture and death amid cries of 'crucify Him!’ Today, we celebrate His (and our!) victory over death and despair. Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more! Alleluia!

The servant is not greater than the Master. We should expect challenges, lies, persecution - and Resurrection!  We remain faithful - the rest is up to our loving and merciful God, who has blessed us abundantly. Thanks be to God, the Giver of all good gifts, for what he has done for us and through us.

He is risen. He is truly risen. Alleluia!
