Chesterton Academy of Sacramento is Flourishing
It's amazing to see the good work God has accomplished in such a short amount of time. From cross country meets in the fall to our first Winter Swing Social earlier this month, students at Chesterton are thriving in their journey to become saints for Christ. Some of our first semester accomplishments are:
We created a dynamic school culture with activities such as Spirit Week, House Patron Days, diaper and food drives, Winter Swing Social, All Souls plenary indulgence field trip to Calvary Cemetery, day-long Advent Retreat with Fr. Adam, sang in the O Antiphons Advent Concert, and in January we are headed to the Walk for Life West Coast!
We established an Athletics Program that featured a competitive cross country team, and is currently hosting both boys and girls basketball. Turns out we have some phenomenal coaches within our ranks!
We hosted 180 guests at the successful Fleur-de-Lis Gala in October and met our initial fundraising goal of $120,000. See two video highlights from this amazing evening below:
